Will you pray with me?

Hello, friends!

I have a couple of big weeks coming up. This next weekend, 9/6 and 9/7,  I will be delivering a couple of different talks at the Women of Faith Be the Light Event in Lincoln, NE.  Then, the weekend after, on 9/14 my daughter Becca gets married!

so believe in the power of prayer, but I have never been comfortable asking for it from people. I’m actually never comfortable asking for anything, really, which I’m sure can be frustrating for the people around me. I think it’s that asking for help always garners attention that I immediately feel uncomfortable about… like I instantly want to apologize for turning people in my direction instead of their own lives.

I have learned a couple of things over the years. One, is that when we don’t allow others to help us, we are keeping them from joy. For many of us, joy comes when we give, so we need to allow others that opportunity.  The other is, if we don’t ask, we don’t receive.

So, I am asking for prayers. Prayers that God will speak through each of the speakers at the Be The Light Conference. That each of those attending will have an open heart and mind to hear God’s message, and faithful feet to fulfill the call He places on their hearts.

I also ask that you pray for blessings as Becca and her future husband, Hunter, prepare for a lifetime together. That God will always be at the center of their marriage and their family. That they build each other up to fulfill all that God has planned for them.

Thank you each for being a part of my community. Your prayers are so appreciated and powerful!

I would love to also pray for you. Please let me know if you have a need.

Blessings and Love,

And that is so exciting that your daughter is getting married! I hope it will be a wonderful wedding weekend. And I pray that God will bless their marriage, drawing each of them ever closer to one another, and more importantly, close to Himself.
