In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. Hebrews 5:12-14
In Genesis, we are told that we are made in the image of God. He wants us to continually transform into His likeness. Therefore, spiritual growth is not optional in Christian life. We can be a Christian and never grow spiritually.
So, how do we grow spiritually? How do we become teachers of God’s word?
It says in Hebrews. We have to be constantly in His word to learn and train ourselves in spiritual maturity. Learning how to grow spiritually is a life-long journey which occurs as you read and apply God’s Word to your life.
In this week’s Choose Chat, Jill and I discuss Choose Growth.
Have a blessed week!
