In my last post, I talked about where your focus is, your vision will be as well. If our focus is on worldly things, that is what our decisions will be based on. If our focus is on God’s word and His desires, that is what our decisions will be based on.
This Sunday my pastor’s message was…It is God’s word and His desires that are Truth. We must speak truth with Grace.
Galatians 3:28 tells us “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” In Mark 10:9…”Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
Romans 3:22-24 “This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus”
Whenever we are faced with situations where the mutuality, equality, and unity won by God in Jesus Christ is threatened, we are called to proclaim His word. We are to speak in truth with Grace. When this is our focus, there will be equality, love, peace and joy. When we speak in truth with grace, women and men of all races, ethnicity, and social standing will know themselves equal before God.
Galatians 6:16-18 “Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to the Israel of God. From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen.
I am speaking truth, with Grace.
